About This Project

🧭 INTRODUCTION TO THE METAPROBLEM

We are living at a turning point in human history. Amid climate collapse, rising conflict, and deep spiritual disconnection, a deeper call is being heard—not from politics, but from the Earth herself. It is the call to return to right relation with nature and ourselves.

In this time of eco-anxiety and cultural grief, those working hardest to protect life—regenerative leaders, stewards, and visionaries—are often burned out, under-supported, and isolated. Without tending to the regenerators, we risk losing the momentum of global transformation.

💔 CORE PROBLEM IN THE BIOREGION

The Costa Rican Diamante Valley is home to vital watersheds and sacred lands, yet lacks protected spaces for cross-cultural, cross-generational leadership gatherings. There is an absence of sanctuary for those guiding the regenerative movement—especially women and Indigenous leaders—who are holding deep responsibilities without adequate rest, resources, or reverence.

🌿 PROPOSED SOLUTION

Aguas Sagradas is a women-led living water temple and sanctuary protecting an 8-acre ridge facing the sacred Diamanté Falls—in perpetuity.

It is a hidden sanctuary where regenerative leaders, Earth guardians, and cultural stewards can rest, realign, and reconnect with the sacred intelligence of water and nature.

Phase one includes the creation of the Water Temple—a convening space and sanctuary that nourishes leadership at the root.

✨ WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE

Aguas is not a retreat center—it’s a living commons, a model for planetary regeneration that starts with the regenerators.

Our approach works with water as teacher, technology, and sacred force, reminding us that we are nature remembering herself.

We focus not on extractive output, but on restoring the source—the people holding visions for cultural and ecological transformation.

Aguas models decentralized, nature-informed systems of community, care, and leadership rooted in feminine wisdom and reciprocity.
