World Youth Horizons

WYH was founded by Jeff Hoffman in 2021. Jeff's mission was simply to start helping the lives of youth around the world, and as he shared stories and his passion for giving back, the organization began to grow. People were inspired by the direct connection between their donated funds and the communities and children receiving them.
A key differentiator of WYH is that it gives 100% of donations directly to youth — made possible by the commitment of its volunteers and founders who cover operational costs separately.

Rather than running programs themselves, WYH finds people and communities already making a difference in the lives of children and directly supports their initiatives. This model allows for lean, high-impact giving.

Their three featured causes are Vumbula Youth Home (Uganda — food, shelter, and schooling for children), Dream Hustle Code (leveling the tech playing field for kids from underrepresented communities), and The School of St. Yared (providing education to impoverished children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia).

Their donation timeline shows granular, month-by-month transparency — from purchasing goats and mosquito nets to funding dental visits and land acquisition for farming. They report over 100 lives impacted since founding, with operations primarily centered on the Vumbula Youth Home in Uganda.
