About

Fundación Pachamama was established as a rights-based organization rooted in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Over nearly two decades, it has built deep alliances with Achuar and Shuar Indigenous nationalities, developing programs that emerge from the territory itself rather than being imposed from the outside. Its institutional goal for 2030 is for 1,500 Indigenous families to raise their daily wellbeing in their own communities, while extensive areas of forest and river systems remain conserved or in active restoration.
